The Bible is the basis of our belief and
Jesus Christ is the cornerstone. We believe that Jesus is
God and Lord of all and that He came representing the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit. |
| |
“For in
Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” ~
Colossians 2:9 |
| |
“And
without controversy great is the mystery of the godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in
the world, Received up in glory.” ~ 1 Timothy 3:16 |
| |
“In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things
were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that
was made.” ~ John 1:1-3 |
| |
|
Repentance is the foundation of every
relationship with God. It is the act of turning away from
sin and turning to Christ with a change of heart, mind and
behavior. Repentance must come first! |
| |
“for all
have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” ~ Romans
3:23 |
| |
“If we
confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our
sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” ~ 1 John
1:9 |
| |
“Repent,
then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out…”
~ Acts 3:19(a) |
| |
|
After repentance of sins, we must confess
with our mouth and believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ
is Lord. |
| |
“That if
you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in
your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be
saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are
justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and
are saved.” ~ Romans 10:9, 10 |
| |
“And
everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” ~
Acts 2:21 |
| |
“Salvation
is found is no one else, for there is no other name under
heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” ~ Acts 4:12 |
| |
| Water Baptism in Jesus name is commanded to
all believers. The word ‘baptism’ literally means to immerse or
submerge; therefore, sprinkling would not fulfill the scriptures. |
| |
“Then Peter said to them,
“Repent, and let everyone one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for
the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” ~
Acts 2:38 |
| |
“When they
heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord
Jesus.” ~ Acts 19:5 |
| |
“And
whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the
Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” ~
Colossians 3:17 |
| |
|
Not only is there Water Baptism, but also
Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This is a spiritual empowering
for every believer and is essential for you to come into the
fullness of Christ. |
| |
“But you
will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and
you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” ~ Acts 1:8 |
| |
When the
day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to
speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” ~ Acts
2:1, 4 |
| |
|
We believe that to each one who has been
filled with the Holy Spirit, they are given Spiritual Gifts
and that these Gifts are still for the church today. |
| |
“Now there
are diversities of gifts, but the same spirit.” ~ 1
Corinthians 12:4 |
| |
“But the
manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the
profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom
through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through
the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to
another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the
working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another
discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of
tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.” ~ 1
Corinthians 12:7-10 |
| |
“Jesus
Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”~ Hebrews
13:8 |
| |
|
If you have never given your life to Christ
you can do so today. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:2,
“…now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of
salvation.” |
| |
|
|
To start your walk with God and begin a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ, pray this prayer: |
| |
|
|
Dear Lord, |
| |
I know without You I am lost and going to hell. |
| |
I want to be saved. |
| |
I turn away from my old way of living and will never go
back. |
| |
I
turn to You and ask that You forgive me of my sins. |
| |
I
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and I believe You are the
Son of God. |
| |
I believe in my heart that You died for my sins and was
raised from the dead. |
| |
Please come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. |
| |
Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. |
|
Amen. |
